Extracurricular or Co-Curricular activities promote student participation in educational programs and skill-building opportunities. The activities help to round out the learning experiences which extend learning beyond the classroom. They consist of classroom field trips, student council, clubs, sports activities, current events, a study of national holidays, and other calendar observances, etc. Community projects are included to foster the principles of serving others.
