My name is Pamela Waters. I am married to David Waters, pastor of the Sunset Hills Baptist Church. I have 2 daughters, Natalie and Tiffany. Both daughters are attending Liberty University. Our family has had the privilege of serving the Lord all across the globe.
My husband and I met and were married in Madrid, Spain during the time that our parents served as missionaries there. I attended Baptist Bible College, where I majored in Christian Education with a minor in Missions. Upon graduation, our family served as missionaries in Spain for 8 years. We then ministered to the military in Aviano, Italy for 2 years.
Upon our return to the United States my husband became the pastor of the Napa Valley Baptist Church, where he served for 6 years. During that time I served as his administrative assistant and headed up the Children’s Ministry. I currently live in Alexandria and love calling it home. I am actively involved in church and am directing the Children’s Ministry at the Sunset Hills Baptist Church.
Besides our church work, my husband and I lead Mira Ministries International, a ministry to orphans in Latin America, Russia and Ukraine. The ministry collects and distributes much-needed school supplies to children who cannot attend school without them. The ministry’s main goal, however, is to put a copy of God’s word into the hands of each child who receives a Pak of school supplies. Last year, during the 2009-2010 school year, I served as one of the K3 teachers. It was a wonderful year as I watched the children learn and grow.
This year it is my honor to serve you as Principal. The teachers and I are a united team with one goal in mind; to give your child a Christ-centered education.
