Pre-Kingergarten, Ms. Sarah Rhodes
My name is Sarah Rhodes and I am excited to teach Pre-K this 2011-2012 school year!
This is my first year teaching at Christian Center School and I am excited to see how each
student will grow this year spiritually and academically. Before I came to CCS I was in college at
Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. I attended Liberty University from 2007-2011 and I
graduated this past May with a B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in science
and social science. This is my first official teaching position and I am eager to begin my first year
of teaching.
I grew up in a military family so growing up for me consisted of moving almost every 3-4
years. I’ve lived in Colorado, Michigan, Florida and Virginia. I have been living in Virginia since
7th grade and attended Saunders Middle School and Forest Park public schools in Prince William
County. Since living in Virginia I have enjoyed going to the historical sites in the Northern and
Southeast areas and the outdoor beauty of central Virginia.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, running, hiking, making homemade cards, playing the
piano, travelling, and cooking. I live in Woodbridge, Virginia and I attend Occoquan Bible
Church where I am involved in the children’s ministry teaching pre-K Sunday school classes and
with the youth group on Tuesday nights.
