Hello! My name is Morgan Ward and this is my 3rd year with CCS. I taught Kindergarten my
first year here and this will be my second year serving you as the Director of Student Services.
This past summer I also Co-Directed the Christian Center School Summer Kids Camp. I am
very excited to be going into this year on fire for all the wonderful things God is doing.
I graduated from Virginia Wesleyan with my BA in Religious Studies in 2007 and since have been working with children of all ages doing different types of Ministry. I have been following God’s calling to touch the hearts of children for 8 years now and I am very passionate about what I do.
I am from Virginia Beach and moved to Alexandria 4 years ago. I am the youngest of three children. My brother and his wife along with my aunt, uncle, and cousin live here in the DC area. I am very close to all my family and enjoy every chance I get to spend with them. I have two God children who mean the world to me Meighan is 10 and Jude is 3.
In my free time I enjoy relaxing, shopping (mainly for shoes), and spending quality time with my family and friends. I grew up in the Methodist Church and have had a relationship with Jesus Christ for most of my life. I am very passionate about what I do and I am constantly working to strengthen my relationship with Christ. Jeremiah 29:11 is the bible verse I live by:
“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
